Spatialization of intentional violent deaths and trafficking in the south zone of Macapá: mapping of subversive territorialities and criminal factions

This article aims to analyze the actions of local criminal factions in the southern area of Macapá by spatializing intentional violent deaths and drug trafficking, which was the chosen path to observe the unfolding of this phenomenon in the daily flows of urban space and the formation of spaces of fear. Understanding this process allows for a deeper discussion on the dominance of these organizations and the formation of their respective territories and territorialities, as well as a cartography of their ability to influence relationships established in vulnerable spaces, stimulating subversive actions antagonized by hatred. To assess these actions, data were collected on specific indicators, in this case, intentional violent deaths and drug trafficking in 2021. The mapping of these data indicated the geographic concentration of territorialities and the spaces affected by them, enabling the analysis of the impacts of the fixation of these subjects in leading roles in the articulation of actions in urban space.
