Between sayings and facts: planning tourist destinations. San Gabriel Casa Blanca, Oaxaca

Objective: Carry out the tourist planning of San Gabriel Casa Blanca, Oaxaca, based on the integrated model of tourist planning, for the design and action plan of the tourist product. Methodology: The study design is cross-sectional, qualitative-quantitative, descriptive. The methodology is based on the integrated model of tourism planning. Results: The results based on the perception of the community and the analysis of the destination allowed the external analysis and projections, which will enable the design and action plan of the tourist product. Value: The study follows a bottom-up approach. The community is the one who defines whether to continue with the tourism policy and the action programs. Limitations: A study is needed on the perception of current and potential demand. Conclusions: The community has tourism potential and therefore can contribute to local tourism development. Greater interest is required on the part of government agencies.
