Abstract

This theoretical essay explores the directions of geopolitics in light of new dynamics in near outer space. The text discusses key concepts from geopolitical and astropolitical studies, analyzing political, economic, and military changes, as well as commercial disputes and conflicts. It also considers emerging alternatives for energy transition and technological advancement within the context of globalized capitalism. The essay highlights the role of major powers such as the United States, China, Russia, and India in their astropolitical strategies, and proposes that new maps and analytical methods are emerging in a global scenario characterized by tensions, potential ruptures, and reorganizations. The approach is grounded in readings of geographers and experts in the field, suggesting paths for future analyses and contributing to the deepening of academic debate on the subject.
