Formação de atletas e desenvolvimento de treinadores em clubes esportivos: uma análise à luz dos Sistemas Adaptativos Complexos (CAS)

Abstract

This study analyzes athlete and coach development in Brazilian sports clubs from the perspective of Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS). It is a theoretical essay with a qualitative approach, based on literature from sport sciences, sport management, and organizational theory. The paper discusses the application of CAS to club dynamics, understood as systems of interdependent agents. The findings indicate that athlete development occurs in a non-linear way, influenced by interactions among managers, coaches, athletes, and families. Organizational learning and feedback are highlighted as key elements for adaptation, showing that the quality of internal relationships guides athletic and professional development.
