Resumen

Achievement of the quality of a choral piece performance is possible provided that the ensemble sound is maintained, the purity of the structure, the expressiveness of timbres, dynamics and technical training of the choir members are achieved. The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the impact of digital technologies on improvement of choral performance, taking into account the methods of sound processing and work on a musical piece. The training of choral performers was implemented with the use of digital technologies – Vocalista (for sound processing) and ChoraLine (for work on a musical piece). The research results demonstrated that the students’ choir members were able to achieve a high level of vocal emotionality (4.9 points), an ensemble nature of vocal parts (4.8 points) and performance technique (4.6 points). The achieved results confirm the harmony of the performance of choral compositions due to achievement of systematic and individuality in training with the use of digital technologies. Among the students’ choir members, it has been found that digital technologies had a positive impact on development of musical ear (4.7 points) and memory (5.0 points). It has been found that the performance of arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs “Kolo mlynu, kolo brodu” and “Vyidu ya na horu” by the students’ choir members was characterized by the quality of musical interpretation and synchronicity of voices. The practical significance of the article is aimed at the possibility of expansion of approaches to teaching choir members with the use of digital technologies. Prospects for further research are aimed at comparing the effectiveness of digital and virtual technologies for musical sounds and pieces processing in general.
