The phrase "socio-environmental conflicts" is used to designate a series of problems and struggles that involve, as the name implies, human societies and the environment or the natural context in which they live or with which they have some economic relationship or symbolic. It starts from a notion of iniquity and a criticism of the economic model that punishes certain groups in society that are more exposed to the risks and costs - without obtaining benefits - of the globalization of the hegemonic capitalist development model, than in the last three For centuries, following the general law of capitalist accumulation, it has incessantly revolutionized science and technology to increase the extraction of surplus value while concentrating and centralizing capital like never before. This law is an expression of another deeper law that operates on the level of production; the law of the formal and real subsumption process of the labor process under capital; that seeks to align the process of work, the development of technology and science under the implacable dictatorship of capital, and maintains a permanent war against indigenous peoples and peasants to expand their geographical limits in a process of colonization of new territories.
