This essay aims to present proposals for theatrical mediation created by the research group - Grupo de Experimentações Cênicas, Performativas e Pedagógicas - which were developed for an action before, during and after the play for children ‘Os Botãos das Camisas e das Rosas’. The research seeks to analyze this mediation process carried out in the Public Schools of Mato Grosso do Sul in 2024, considering the experience that the mediators had during all stages of this process. By relating the school to the community, the idea was born to investigate theatrical mediation by taking this process inside the walls of the schools, reflecting this environment as a multiple space that allows contact with the arts and promotes cultural actions. Likewise, it intends to analyze and discuss the formation of audiences in public schools, where during their schooling, many children have never had contact with theater or participated in theatrical mediations.
