This article presents practices developed in a theater workshop with a hybrid group, formed by people with and without disabilities. The workshop is characterized as an outreach action, involving the academic and non-academic community in a proposal to expand access to art and culture. This paper presents aspects identified during the workshops in 2024, with emphasis on the creation of a show, the result of the desire and interest of the participants. Some tensions, such as the appreciation of art made by the community, as well as the presence of ableism, are presented in an attempt to encourage reflection on accessible performing practices.
