This article investigates the emergence of the XXXXXXXX extension project and the creative processes that culminated in the staging of the play “Prometeu Acorrentado,” highlighting, from a genealogical approach inspired by Nietzsche, the importance of deviations and errors as essential elements in artistic construction. Started in February 2020, the project adapted to the virtual environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic and overcame other challenges, such as the metamorphoses in the characters caused by cast turnover. The play, which premiered in 2022, reflected the intersection between teaching, research, and extension by addressing contemporary issues in light of Greek thought, characterized by an original soundtrack with ten songs that integrated the narrative and the ethos of the characters. Emphasizing collaboration, the creative process positioned theatrical direction as a proponent of experiences, revealing how artistic practice can be a powerful space for learning, reflection, and improvisation. Thus, analyzing the project's trajectory offers valuable insights into the role of art and creative dynamics in the training of educators, expanding artistic possibilities in the Pedagogy Program.
