This work aims to experiment the process of acoustic orchestration developed by pianist Glenn Gould, from a bibliographic review and two distinct empirical experiments. As primary theoretical reference for this research we used the Theory of Audio Music, mainly to understand the relationship between musician and media. To obtain information about the process of acoustic orchestration, we use biographical texts and disc inserts, in the expectation of understanding its parameters for application today. Initially, we recorded the song Jeux d'eau by Ravel in a professional studio environment, using microphones and applying reverberation in post-production. In a second moment, we apply the technique using a digital piano in a home studio environment with processing available through recording and mixing programs. As a result, we have four different recordings with different creative proposals regarding reverberation, panorama and other possible effects in the digital medium.
