About the Journal

Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (PAT) [Agricultural Research in the Tropics], e-ISSN 1983-4063, is a continuous-flow scientific journal published in a single anual volume, without numbering, by the Escola de Agronomia of Universidade Federal de Goiás, in Goiânia, Goiás state, Brazil. The PAT's mission is “to promote the development of the agricultural research”, aiming at publishing manuscripts directly related to the context of agriculture.

[PAT] Novo Fator de Impacto/New Impact Factor

Gostaríamos de compartilhar duas boas notícias:

  1. O Fator de Impacto da revista “Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical” [PAT] subiu para 1,3 (classificação 2025). Agradecemos a valiosa contribuição de Editores, Avaliadores e Autores, a qual nos permite manter um periódico 100% gratuito;
  2. O tema da nossa edição especial para 2027 já foi decidido: “Cannabis sativa”. Informações sobre as submissões serão divulgadas no segundo semestre de 2026.

 

We would like to share some good news:

  1. The Impact Factor of the “Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical” [PAT; Agricultural Research in the Tropics] journal rose to 1.3 (2025 ranking). We thank the valuable contribution of Editors, Reviewers and Authors, which allows us to maintain a 100% free journal;
  2. The theme for our special 2027 edition has already been decided: “Cannabis sativa”. Information about submissions will be released in the second half of 2026.
