TRAJETÓRIAS ACADÊMICAS DE PESSOAS COM DIFERENÇA FUNCIONAL NA EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR:
descolonizando o capacitismo e legitimando a diversidade

O artigo discute trajetórias acadêmicas de pessoas com diferença funcional na educação superior brasileira, atravessadas por desigualdades e pela colonialidade do ser, do saber e do poder. À luz de abordagens decoloniais e interseccionais, revisa a literatura (2009–2022) para identificar concepções de diferença funcional, intersecções com raça, gênero, classe, sexualidade e território e caminhos para práticas anticapacitistas. A análise evidencia barreiras atitudinais, curriculares, arquitetônicas e epistemológicas e a persistência do paradigma biomédico, que produz déficits e inadequações. Em paralelo, emergem propostas que tomam a diferença funcional como categoria político-epistemológica e reivindicam justiça cognitiva, currículos pluriversos, pedagogias flexíveis e participação ativa na produção do conhecimento. Conclui-se que garantir acesso é insuficiente sem transformar normas e estruturas universitárias e orientar políticas e práticas para equidade, pertencimento e dignidade.
