This article aims to present the actions developed in the project Nós Propomos! o GRUPEG vai à escola, based on the principles of Nós Propomos!, conceived at the Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território da Universidade de Lisboa (IGOT-ULisboa) (University) and disseminated in Brazil through partnerships with universities, including the Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB) (university), through the Grupo de Pesquisa no Ensino de Geografia (GRUPEG) (research group). The project understands territory as a lived space, marked by conflicts and inequalities, and conceives students as subjects capable of analyzing local problems and proposing interventions. The first action took place at the Colégio Estadual de Tempo Integral de Mortugaba-Bahia (school), with pedagogical practices articulated with territorial investigation and the exercise of citizenship. The second occurred in Cordeiros-Bahia (city) and aimed to strengthen youth protagonism through scientific research, engaging students in the identification and analysis of the main socio-environmental problems of the municipality, as well as in proposing possible solutions by articulating school, community, and public authorities. The third action took place in Vitória da Conquista-Bahia (city), at the Complexo Integrado de Educação Básica, Profissional e Tecnológica (CIEB), and at the Colégio Estadual Polivalente (school), where studies and activities were carried out from a social engagement perspective through proposals elaborated by the students. The works presented satisfactory results with regard to investigation and the collective formulation of proposals to address local reality problems in a critical and scientific manner. The expressive involvement of the school community and representatives of the public authorities.
