Abstract: This article investigates the approach to globalization in 9th-grade Geography textbooks approved by the National Textbook and Teaching Materials Program (PNLD) 2024. The research adopts a qualitative and documentary methodology and analyzes three textbook collections, identifying the main conceptual perspectives used to address the theme, the pedagogical resources employed, and the emphases adopted by the authors. The results indicate differences in the presentation of globalization among the analyzed works, with variations in the emphasis on economic, social, and cultural aspects. While some collections prioritize an economic perspective, others offer a more integrated approach. The analysis reveals how these differences influence students’ understanding of the global phenomenon and its relationship with geographic space.
